The coming dystopia and the end of time

Here is the thing. I keep waiting for the revolution to start, for people to wake up and at least take "figurative arms" against the status quo. A status quo that favors the so called entrepreneurs, but really they are just rich folks who hoard their money and look down upon the masses.

And who are the masses?

It's those of us who make anywhere from $0 - $200K and depending on location live paycheck to paycheck. Not because we're not trying, but because the deck is stacked against us.

But the truth is, (here in the USA and elsewhere in the world) people are just letting the future wash over us, a future that because I read a lot of science fiction, I know exactly how it's going to unfold. The dystopia you gun loving folks love is not the "Zombie" apocalypse. No.... It's one where WE ARE the figurative "zombies" and the elites, live behind their gated and gilded palaces and expect us surfs to cater to their every whim.

Evangelical Christianity has fully embraced this vision of America. Other Christian Denominations are also suffering, denying the impact of the social and cultural upheaval underneath. I suspect the "last saints of the church" will be those born helping, the destitute, the infirm and the hopeless. And who will be those who need help? Well obviously, the majority of the population, as the rich look down upon them to tell them, "well, you just did not try hard enough."

So, when the oligarchs, in their gated and gilded palaces look down upon us, the few of us who get "day passes" to work in their presence, will look back upon this time and inquire how, the vast majority of the "American People" were betrayed.
